I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Balam Playa, 15Th Ave. The rooftop pool was a highlight, offering stunning views and a perfect place to relax. The room was spacious and comfortable, making it an inviting retreat after a long day.

staying here was a delightful experience as it was just a few steps away from the lively 5th Avenue and close to Mamita's Beach Club, making it super easy to enjoy both shopping and sunbathing during my strolls around Playa del Carmen.

Unresponsive communication when trying to locate the hotel!!! Subpar check-in experience with staff disinterest!!! The cleanliness of rooms needs serious attention. even basic safety is a concern!!!

I had a nice time enjoying the cozy Deluxe King Suite and the complimentary breakfast on the terrace was a sweet touch. The outdoor swimming pool and sun loungers made for perfect relaxation spots after a day out. Just wish the Wi-Fi was a bit stronger, but overall, everything was great! 😄

Family travelers delight

The rooftop pool area was excellent for soaking up the sun, really felt like a slice of paradise. Loved the refreshing breeze coming through our room upstairs, it was calming after a long day. They even took care of my crystals, placing them back in the room for me.

Just a decent option for a city break in Playa del Carmen with all in all brilliant value for money. The outdoor swimming pool area was great to chill after a busy day. Bring your own toiletries as the ones provided can be a bit lacking.

I stayed in the Queen Suite for a night, and it was pretty comfy! The room was spacious with super comfortable beds. I liked the basket of towels and sanitary items they provided. The air flow was nice too, especially through the windows. Just a couple blocks from 5th Avenue, which was great for exploring.
